ZygApp LLC ("ZygApp," "us," "we," or "our"), a United States Limited Liability Company, operates the website ZygApp.com (the "Service").

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service. For users in South Africa, ZygApp LLC acts as the Responsible Party in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). For users in the EU/EEA, we act as the Data Controller.

2.1. Personal Data: While using our Service, we may ask you to provide personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name
  • Profile pictures and User Content
  • Account credentials
  • Creator marketplace data: if you participate in the Creator Marketplace, we collect your Amazon Associates tracking ID(s), your confirmation that you have registered zygapp.com as a property in your Amazon Associates account (including the date of that confirmation), and records relating to the review and compliance status of content and links you submit.

2.2. Usage Data: We collect information on how the Service is accessed and used. This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, pages visited, the time and date of your visit, and interaction metrics with our 3D ad units and educational modules.

3. Cookies and Third-Party Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service.

  • Service Cookies: Used to authenticate users and prevent fraudulent use of accounts.
  • Affiliate Tracking: Because ZygApp and its creators utilize the Amazon Associates program, affiliate links on the Service lead directly to Amazon.com. When you click an affiliate link, Amazon sets third-party cookies to track the click and attribute qualifying purchases; this tracking is performed by Amazon, not by ZygApp. Affiliate links on ZygApp are direct links — we do not route them through redirect or click-tracking systems of our own, and ZygApp does not build individual profiles of your affiliate link activity. Please refer to Amazon's Privacy Notice for details on their tracking practices. Once you leave the Service via any outbound link, this Privacy Policy no longer applies.
  • You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies, but some parts of the platform may not function properly.

4. How We Use Your Data

ZygApp uses the collected data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (e.g., authenticating your login).
  • Process and manage creator accounts, permissions, and user-generated content.
  • Analyze platform usage and optimize our interactive ad units.
  • Provide customer care and monitor the usage of the Service to address technical issues.
  • Operate the Creator Marketplace, including verifying creator eligibility, attributing affiliate links and disclosures to the correct creator, and maintaining records required to keep the platform compliant with the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement and applicable advertising disclosure laws.
  • Validate, review, and moderate creator-submitted links and content, including automated checks of link format and content restrictions, and retention of related compliance records.

5. Third-Party Service Providers ("Tech Stack")

We do not sell your data. However, to provide our Service, we utilize industry-leading cloud infrastructure providers. The physical hosting and storage are managed by the following third-party sub-processors:

  • Google Cloud Platform (Compute): Used to host the application logic.
  • Google Cloud SQL: Used to securely store relational records.
  • Google Cloud Storage: Used to store user-generated media files.
  • Firebase: Used for secure user authentication and identity management.

These providers adhere to rigorous security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001). By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed on servers maintained by these providers.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, or to comply with our legal obligations and resolve disputes. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means (including encryption at rest and in transit) to protect your Personal Data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. International Data Transfer

As a US-based LLC operating globally, your information may be transferred to—and maintained on—computers located outside of your state, province, or country where the data protection laws may differ. Specifically, we transfer data via our Google Cloud infrastructure to the United States (or other Google Cloud regions). Your consent to this Privacy Policy represents your agreement to that transfer.

  • The right to rectification: You can request that we correct inaccurate information.
